Curriculum rebuild · e-learning
A 12-lesson regulated curriculum, rebuilt from a blank page

- Challenge
- Replace a legacy video ground school with interactive lessons that a working adult can finish, where every technical fact must match federal regulations and FAA handbooks.
- Approach
- Source digests for each lesson, then storyboards with on-screen text, build notes and voiceover timed at about 140 words a minute. A pronunciation dictionary keeps synthetic narration accurate on aviation terms. Lessons release every 21 days so learners never face the whole course at once.
- Delivered
- 12 lesson storyboards with timed voiceover scripts
- Pronunciation dictionaries for synthetic voice
- Professional and voiceover revision notes per lesson
- Companion textbook from the same sources
- Storyline build and Thinkific deployment plan

Assessment-ready reference · print and digital
An oral-exam guide built around how memory works
- Challenge
- Applicants memorize long question lists, then stall when the examiner asks out of order.
- Approach
- Organized the entire oral into four chunks taken from an FAA risk framework, applied to the applicant's own assigned flight. Scenario boxes move learners from recall to application and correlation. One manuscript source produces print, Kindle and EPUB editions.
- Delivered
- 308-page second edition in 24 chapters and 5 appendices
- 51 step-by-step scenarios with sources
- Three exam tracks on real assigned routes
- Editorial and fact-check log against current regulations (Oct 2026)

Standards traceability · instructor materials
Lesson plans that prove nothing in the standard was missed

- Challenge
- Instructor applicants must teach any task in a national standard, and examiners check for gaps element by element.
- Approach
- Every lesson tags each knowledge, risk-management and skill element with its code where it is taught, and ends with a crosswalk table. A written authoring spec and an independent fact-check pass run before author review. One Markdown source builds the PDF and editable Word editions.
- Delivered
- Authoring specification for writers and reviewers
- 10-lesson sample edition
- Crosswalk table in every lesson
- PDF and Word editions from one source
55corrections logged by the fact-check
25open items resolved
2editions from one source
